Outer SanctumĮach Outer Sanctum has 4 different stages which involves fighting multiple monsters and evading traps to fulfill specific objectives. This altered the original setup of 3 outer ( fire, water, light) + 1 inner ( fire/ water/ light) to now with 4 outer stages + 1 inner stage, each with unique different elements.

The deal breaker was when the Dark Sanctums released in update 41 and that was then that I decided to go all the way to clear all stages of Inner and Outer Sanctum for the first time and mostly in a single sitting. As such, I was mainly clearing a few stages of the Outer Sanctum to build up these element-specific sets. To give a bit more context, I procrastinated on this Sanctum post because my water and nature gears were not as strong as my other gear types. It will also talk about what items you might potentially obtain at the end of the run. The post will also detail what resources you would need if you plan to finish the entire thing in one go. In this first segment, we’ll cover the fundamentals of how Sanctums work and what to expect.
